The Susquehanna Trailers Hiking Club was organized in 1932 by the Playground and Recreation Association of Wyoming Valley. In 2002 we celebrated our 70th Anniversary.   We are based in Wilkes-Barre, PA., but some of our 104 members come from as far away as Nicholson, Tunkhannock, and Bloomsburg.

Any one is welcome to join us on our hikes.  There is no charge and club membership is optional.  Since we hike all year round please dress appropriately for the weather, wear proper footgear and always carry water.

The group is varied - men, women, old, young, married, single and there are many vocations represented. But we all have one aim out on the hiking trail,
